John Fitch V's "Vuvuzombie" short story to run in anthology |

JohnFitchV.com is proud to announce that John's short story Vuvuzombie will be part of a Halloween anthology entitled Bump In The Night, published by Bucks County Publishing this fall. "I'm very happy to work with Bruce Sarte on this project," Fitch told his web site. "This is a fun story, and I hope that my storytelling skills will draw in new readers to my existing works. It will also be at a fun time, since I'll also release the first Obloeron prequel novel at about the same time." Vuvuzombie is set in this past June at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which took place in South Africa. The story takes place during the first half of Team USA's 1-1 draw with England, as well as the following days as Peter Savile, the story's protagonist, becomes a zombie after hearing a vuvuzela horn blow at an obnoxious pitch. Fitch is a tremendous fan of world football, and he hopes to draw in many readers who like that sport.

JohnFitchV.com is proud to announce that John's newest novel, A Galaxy At War, has been released and is available in both trade paperback and in digital format for Amazon Kindle. It costs $14.95 for the trade paperback version and $1.99 for the digital version. John wrote the novel in the fall of 2008, and it's the story of a pilot, Ryann Germayne, who is given an assignment of critical importance. A rebellious government is being set up, and Ryann must assassinate one of the leaders. But when he is asked to do it again, he makes a decision that affects not only him, but his wife, his friends -- and the galaxy as a whole.
